Love is a simple practice yet it is very beneficial for the individual who practices it, for the nation and for the whole world.
The Dalai Lama
I’ve always been fascinated by the unknown. Stories that take us on a journey deep inside our hearts to find the truth of who we are, where we come from, and to shed light on the possibility of where we might be going.
I am attracted to strong characters who fear their power, characters who must overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles in order to discover their true strength. All of my writing; blog posts, novels, and screenplays play out this theme in some form or other, and across multiple genres.
While I am attracted to the fantasy and metaphysical worlds, I am also deeply entrenched in the nostalgia of the past, having a love affair with the 20s, 30s 40s, and 50s specifically. I am also enamored by anything French in origin including pain au chocolat which is quite possibly the key to my heart.
As a filmmaker, I’ve enjoyed producing short films, with a similar theme. I have yet to direct a feature, but that day is coming as the script is almost complete. 🙂
While I love all things cinema, my greatest love is being a mother. I never knew how much I could love someone until I met my son. He is my inspiration, muse, and reason for everything I do.
Blessings & Love,
